Imam Ahmed Ilyasi Slams Humayun Kabir's 'Babri Masjid' Remarks
On TMC MLA Humayun Kabir's statement Dr Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief Imam, All India Imam Organisation said that "I feel there's a conspiracy to ruin the atmosphere in the country again. This is a matter of investigation, because Bangladesh is right next door. I smell this coming from Bangladesh. This is a matter of investigation... He's a TMC MLA and Mamata Banerjee is the CM, so Mamata Banerjee should take cognisance of this matter. He wants to lay the foundation stone. So, will Mamata Banerjee offer prayers in this mosque? Will Mamata Banerjee lay the foundation stone for that mosque".
