Himachal Pradesh continues to face the devastating impact of this year's monsoon, with hotels near the Beas River washed away, roads submerged, and widespread destruction across the state. Since June 20, the state has witnessed over 300 landslides, leading to massive infrastructure damage. More than 660 roads and 4 national highways remain blocked, severely hampering mobility and relief operations. With rainfall far exceeding normal levels, authorities are grappling with rescue and recovery efforts amid persistent risks of landslides and flash floods.
