Jammu & Kashmir News | Heavy Rain Forecast In J&K As Monsoon Activity Set To Intensify
Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness increased monsoon activity from August 18, with the MeT office forecasting light to moderate rainfall in parts of the Kashmir division and widespread rainfall in Jammu. Heavy to very heavy rain, with rainfall of up to 150 mm, is expected in parts of Jammu between August 18 and August 20. The weather system could also bring down temperatures in the Kashmir Valley, with Srinagar likely to see daytime temperatures of 28–30°C.
