Six days after the Goa nightclub blaze that killed 25 people, investigators have found that the owners, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, booked tickets to Thailand while rescue teams were still battling the fire. Records show they logged onto MakeMyTrip at 1:17 AM on December 7 and later boarded an IndiGo flight to Phuket from Delhi. As the probe tightens, the Luthra brothers have approached a Delhi court seeking transit anticipatory bail and four weeks' protection from arrest so they can return to India without being taken into custody.
