Germany Announces Over Rs 10,000 Crore In Development Commitments To India

Germany has announced new development commitments of over 1.2 billion Euros (around Rs 10,025 crore) to aid India's fight against climate change for cooperation on clean energy. This announcement was made amid the visit of a delegation from the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. NDTV's Parmeshwar Bawa spoke to German Ambassador Walter J Lindner on India and Germany's latest commitments, the states involved and whether PM Modi's "net zero by 2070" promise is realistic.
