Organizers of a Gaza-bound flotilla have released a pre-recorded video of Irish activist Margaret Connolly after she was detained by the Israeli navy during the interception of vessels attempting to challenge the blockade of Gaza. In the video recorded before departure, Connolly—sister of Irish President Catherine Connolly—says she felt “compelled” to join the mission to highlight the situation in Gaza.
