UN special envoy Ibrahim Gambari Tuesday said he was ''very encouraged'' by India's undertaking to do everything possible to influence the Myanmar regime to go faster on the path to democracy. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's special advisor, who met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, noted India's commitment to ''do everything possible'' to encourage the military junta to cooperate with the international community and produce ''tangible results.''
