Fresh Row In Karnataka Over Revision Of Textbooks

A fresh row erupted in Karnataka after the Congress government in the state is looking at ways to review or undo changes to textbooks brought in by the earlier BJP government, though the government has made it clear that the printed books will not be withdrawn, it says a separate booklet will be sent to all schools which may have new chapters along with guidelines. The BJP has threatened to protest if chapters related to VD Savarkar and RSS founder Hedgewar are removed or edited.
