Flood Alert In Delhi: Yamuna Breaches Danger Mark, Homes Inundated

The Yamuna River in Delhi has crossed the danger mark, reaching 205.75 metres at the Old Railway Bridge following relentless rainfall and the release of water from Haryana’s Hathnikund Barrage. Authorities have urged residents living near the floodplains to evacuate as a precaution. Water has entered homes in Trans-Yamuna areas, prompting the setup of flood relief camps in Mayur Vihar. The central flood control room remains on high alert, and the Delhi Traffic Police has issued advisories amid rising water levels and localized flooding across the city.
