If the week gone by was stormy for Parliament, it looks like the coming week will bring in a hurricane. As the Winter Session of the Parliament enters into its second week, the government is readying for yet another battle - this time over Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the retail sector. What's worse, the Opposition seems to have closed ranks this time around as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to bring in an adjournment motion on the issue today with the Left backing it.
