300 Pak Twitter Handles Created To Disrupt Tractor Rally: Police

Over 300 Twitter handles have been traced to Pakistan that have been created to disrupt and hijack the tractor rally on Republic Day by farmers protesting the central government's new agricultural laws, the Delhi Police claimed on Sunday. Thousands of farmers from Nashik under the banner of All India Kisan Sabha marched towards Mumbai for a rally at Azad Maidan on Monday, in solidarity with farmers protesting around Delhi. India has vaccinated 16 lakh people since COVID-19 vaccination started last week, faster than the US and the UK, the government said. Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a rally in Assam, where election will be held this year, and said the BJP can make the state "violence-free", "infiltrator-free" and "flood-free", but made no mention of implementing the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi targeted the centre again on the second day of this two-day Tamil Nadu campaign, saying he won't allow Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP "to disrespect" the people of Tamil Nadu.
