Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called for a nationwide "Detect, Deduct and Destroy" strategy to dismantle drug trafficking networks across India. Addressing the 10th Apex-Level NCORD meeting, Shah urged states to intensify intelligence sharing, crack down on drug cartels and kingpins, and treat addiction victims with compassion. Calling the next three years crucial in India's fight against narcotics, he stressed that governments, youth, religious leaders, and society must unite to build a drug-free India.
