Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, Union Minister Piyush Goyal addressed the recurring "Mumbai versus outsiders" debate and allegations that major projects are being shifted from Maharashtra to Gujarat. Speaking to NDTV, Goyal rejected the claims, saying Mumbai welcomes people from all regions and languages, and that every resident is a Mumbaikar.
