It's election season and India is celebrating not just by voting but helping everyone vote. Polling booths are now all inclusive as special arrangements for people with disabilities are conspicuous by their presence. A wheelchair at the Cooch Behar booth in West Bengal is just one example among a handful. Inclusivity lies at the foundation of plans and policies across sectors. Samarth by Hyundai in partnership with NDTV, is an outcome of one such policy. The initiative advocates inclusivity and strives to change mindsets. The end goal remains to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities.
