Egypt Says Trump Engagement Crucial For Gaza Ceasefire
Egypt's foreign minister stressed on Monday the success of U.S. President Donald Trump's vision for peace in the Middle East would be dependant on his continued commitment to the issue and applying pressure on both Israel and Hamas. Badr Abdelatty said Monday it was crucial that mediators ensure Israel and Hamas fully implement the first phase of the ceasefire deal so both parties, with international backing, can begin negotiations on the second phase.
