Drone To Help Maintain Law And Order In Bhubaneswar
The Commissionerate Police in Bhubaneswar inducted a high-performance GPS-enabled advanced drone for maintaining law and order, surveillance, and crowd management. Speaking to ANI, DCP Bhubaneswar, Prateek Singh said, "The drone can fly as high as 500 meters and fly up to 5 km. It is effective in surveillance and can take high-resolution aerial footage." "If we anticipate rush, traffic congestion, or anything involving crowds that needs an aerial watch, we will use drones over particular areas. In some cases of crime investigation also, drones can be used," he said.
