The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu has refuted any connections with the recently apprehended alleged drug smuggler Jaffer Sadiq, who stands accused of trafficking narcotics valued at Rs 2,000 crores to foreign nations. Prime Minister Modi addressed this issue during his recent political rallies in the state. Tamil Nadu's Industries Minister T R B Rajaa dismissed these allegations as political mudslinging ahead of the polls, emphasizing that the drug problem is a national concern and no state should be tarnished for political gain. NDTV's Sam Daniel conducted an interview with the Minister.
