‘Abdul Will Become MLA, MP’: Owaisi Targets Akhilesh, Calls For Muslim Leadership

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav while calling for independent political leadership for Muslims and other marginalised communities in Uttar Pradesh. Addressing a public gathering in Rampur, Owaisi said Muslim youth have the potential to become MLAs and MPs rather than remain dependent on established political leaders. He accused parties claiming to represent secular politics of treating Muslims as vote banks while failing to adequately address issues such as education, healthcare, poverty and social justice. With the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections approaching, Owaisi urged supporters to strengthen AIMIM's grassroots presence and push for greater political representation.
