Delhi Violence Rocks Parliament, Opposition Demands Discussion | Read

Both houses of parliament, which reconvened today for the second half of the budget session, got adjourned today as the opposition registered its protests over last week's violence in Delhi. The opposition parties, which held separate protests near the Gandhi statue on the premises, came together to protest in the upper house. Amid slogan shouting by the members of the Congress, Left, TMC, SP, BSP and DMK, Rajya Sabha chairman M Venkaiah Naidu adjourned the house till 2 pm.
