A Class 9 student in Faridabad was allegedly beaten by a teacher for bunking school, sparking outrage after a video of the incident went viral on social media. The student is reportedly traumatised and has stopped attending classes. Police have taken cognisance and launched an investigation, while the Child Welfare Committee and the District Education Officer have been informed. Strict action has been promised against those found guilty.
