A Delhi court has sent 81-year-old Hariram Gupta, owner of the building that collapsed in Satya Niketan, to 14 days’ judicial custody. His wife Urmila Gupta, 75, has also been sent to judicial custody, while their son Mahesh Gupta remains in police custody. The 50-year-old building had been converted into a paying-guest facility after repairs. Seven people were killed in the collapse. Meanwhile, PM Modi will visit Gujarat and Maharashtra to inaugurate projects and the Global Fintech Fest.
