Defence, Law And Home Ministry Websites Down, Official Says "Hardware Problem" | Read

After the Ministry of Defence website started leading to an error and Chinese characters appeared on it this evening, the websites of three other ministries have also gone down. The Home, Law and Labour ministry websites are now opening to error pages.While it was initially thought to be a case of hacking, a top cyber security official has told NDTV that it is a case of hardware problem. "There is no hacking of any nature anywhere in the Defence Ministry website. There is hardware problem due to which the website is down. It will be up shortly," Gulshan Rai, National Cyber Security Coordinator told NDTV.
