Severe Cyclone Michaung is set for landfall by the Bapatla coast in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. IMD chief Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said, "Over Andhra Pradesh coastal areas, now maximum wind speed is around 70-80 kmph is prevailing over Nellore and entering Prakasham district. It will gradually increase and extend towards the north, Bapatla and Krishna districts, At the time of landfall which we're expecting around forenoon of December 5 close to Bapatla. At that time wind speed will be about 90-100 kmph over Bapatla and Krishna districts and wind speed near Nellore district by that time will decrease. Listen in to his exclusive interview with NDTV.
