Vehicles Damaged As Trees Fall In Heavy Downpour In Tamil Nadu
Heavy rains lashed several parts of Chennai on Tuesday, uprooting trees and damaging vehicles near the Red Hills bus station. Civic teams have been deployed to clear fallen trees and restore normal traffic movement. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for North Tamil Nadu, warning of more intense showers over the next 24 hours due to a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal.
