11% Chennai Population Fully Vaccinated In 18+ Age Group

With 11 per cent vaccination of 18+ age group with both doses, Chennai is leading major cities. Although initially the city faced vaccine hesitancy, now it can only cater to a third of its demand due to shortage of doses. Speaking to NDTV's Sam Daniel, Chennai Corporation Commissioner also shares the need for reconciliation of death count in the city amid reports of a large number of unreported deaths.
