In Rajasthan, Positivity Rate Up To 15%, Doubled In A Week

Rajasthan, which started two weeks of curfew or a self discipline fortnight yesterday, is also seeing a daily spike in coronavirus cases. On Monday evening, 53 died in the state and 11,967 tested positive - of these, 2,011 in Jaipur alone. The positivity rate in the state is now also at 15% , more than double in a week. In the biggest Covid hospital in Jaipur - RUHS - which has 1,200 beds, 90% of the beds are taken. The government is now thinking of allowing private hospitals to tie up with hotels to admit patients.
