Both BJP and Congress announced their candidates for the Tripura assembly polls on Saturday with the state set for a multi-cornered contest in the February 16 election for 60 seats in the state assembly.

Sudip Roy Burman, the Congress candidate from Agartala, spoke to NDTV on how his party is making an attempt to revive in the Northeast. Here's an exclusive report.
