Cole Thomas Allen, a 31-year-old California resident described as a former NASA JPL fellow, mechanical engineer, teacher, and indie game developer, has been identified as the suspect arrested after the shooting outside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner attended by Donald Trump. Authorities say Allen was stopped at a security checkpoint before reaching the main ballroom, where Trump and over 2,500 guests were present. He now faces multiple federal charges, including firearm and assault-related offenses. Apurva Adhikari reports.
