CJP Protest | Akhilesh Yadav Targets Centre Over Student Protest Crackdown
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticised the police action against students protesting at Jantar Mantar, alleging that excessive force was used against peaceful demonstrators. Referring to injuries sustained by protesters, he accused the government of suppressing dissent and demanded accountability over the handling of the protest. He also alleged that individuals perpetrating as policemen were involved in the assault on demonstrators.
