Normally one of Delhi's busiest interchange stations, Hauz Khas Metro Station wore a deserted look on Friday morning as authorities tightened security ahead of the proposed protest in the national capital. NDTV's ground report from outside the station found closed gates, empty platforms and almost no commuter movement. Several passengers arriving at the station were seen turning back after discovering that metro services had been suspended at the location. The shutdown is part of wider restrictions across Delhi, with dozens of metro stations affected and security deployment significantly enhanced. Authorities have also imposed additional transport-related measures as the city prepares for a potentially tense day.
