Delhi Police has intensified security across the national capital ahead of the CJP's proposed protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Entry and exit gates at 45 metro stations have been shut, while interchange facilities remain operational. More than 20,000 police personnel, paramilitary forces and detention buses have been deployed, with barricades and traffic diversions restricting access to central Delhi. Police say prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the BNSS are in force, and hundreds have reportedly been detained as authorities seek to prevent a mass gathering.
