The Cauvery water-sharing dispute has flared up once again, with the DMK accusing the Karnataka government of failing to release Tamil Nadu's allocated share of water. DMK leaders argued that Karnataka cannot unilaterally withhold water once the allocation has been determined under the Cauvery water-sharing mechanism and tribunal framework.
