Usha Ananthasubramanian, MD & CEO of PNB, talks to NDTV about the December quarter earnings. The asset quality has worsened as the clean-up in the bank has now started, she said. The bank sold bad assets worth Rs 1400 crore in Q3 and will be using other tools provided by RBI to clean up the books. The management is confident that strategic debt restructuring for at least 1-2 accounts may happen by the end of this year.
