Bharat Shah, Executive Director, ASK Group says that the gap between the freight and the passenger fare has been widening and a rollback in fare hike will further put a burden on a freight part to raise necessary revenues. "This will clearly have implications on the operating ratio of rail budget which was sought to be brought back to the level of about 85-86%," he adds.
