Aditi Nayar, senior economist at ICRA, talks to NDTV about the macro economic data. CPI inflation inched up in February due to increase in food inflation. She says rise in retail inflation in February has dampened hopes of a rate cut by RBI in the next monetary policy review on April 7. She also expects another 50 bps rate cut by the end of 2015.
