Apple's shares have been sliding on China's rising iPhone restrictions as per reports. In fact, believe it or not, Apple's market value has tumbled $200 billion in just two days as China reportedly bans the use of Apple phones in central government agencies. It is important to remember that China is one of Apple's biggest markets and generates nearly 1/5 of its revenue, accounting for 18% of total revenue just last year. And it isn't just about revenue. Apple, together with its suppliers, employs thousands of workers in China as well. These reported restrictions, which have not been publicly announced by the Chinese government, raised fresh concerns that Apple's products could get caught in international tensions between US and China.
