BS Yediyurappa Takes Oath As Karnataka Chief Minister For Fourth Time

BJP's BS Yediyurappa was sworn in for the fourth time today as the Karnataka Chief Minister, three days after the fall of the 14-month-old Congress-Janata Dal Secular coalition. Mr Yediyurappa says he will prove his majority in the Assembly at 10 am on Monday. Before his swearing-in, the 76-year-old changed the spelling of his name from "Yeddyurappa" to "Yediyurappa". The three-time chief minister has never completed a term. His first term lasted one week and the second term, three years. The third stint was just 48 hours long.
