A British F-35B stealth fighter jet made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram Airport in Kerala on June 14 after declaring low fuel while operating from the HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea. The pilot, 'Mike', was escorted off the jet for security procedures, and a Royal Navy repair crew and technicians arrived to fix a hydraulic failure, grounding the aircraft for several days. The Indian Air Force provided necessary support, and CISF security was deployed to guard the grounded F-35B.
