Union Minister JP Nadda lost his temper in the Rajya Sabha during a heated exchange with Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge on the seventh day of Parliament’s Winter Session. Nadda accused Kharge of attempting to “hijack” the discussion by raising issues that were not scheduled for debate. He asserted that the government is open to discussions on all subjects, including the economy and foreign policy, but only if they are formally listed for discussion. The clash unfolded as the House was allotted time to discuss ‘Vande Mataram’.
