BJP vs Congress: Jallikattu War In Tamil Nadu On Pongal

There is a political pilgrimage going on during Pongal with just five months to go for elections in Tamil Nadu. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was at Madurai to watch Jallikattu, the bull-taming sport and BJP chief JP Nadda was in Chennai for the festival as well. On Left, Right and Centre, leaders from national and regional parties discuss the meaning of 'Tamil spirit' and the criticism over Mr Gandhi supporting Jallikattu after the party vowed to ban the controversial sport if elected to power.
