BJP Announces Maharashtra Oath Ceremony Amid Suspense Over Chief Minister Post
Amid suspense over Maharashtra's Chief Minister post, the BJP has announced that the oath-taking ceremony will take place on December 5 at Azad Maidan. The Mahayuti, however, is yet to name a Chief Minister following its big win. Sources indicate that the Shiv Sena has demanded crucial portfolios, including Home and Finance ministries and the Speaker post for Eknath Shinde. Meanwhile, NCP's Ajit Pawar has confirmed that the Chief Minister will be from the BJP and remarked that delays in naming the chief minister are not unusual.
