A dramatic scene unfolded in Lakhisarai, where Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Sinha was surrounded by alleged RJD supporters while visiting polling booths during the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections. Videos show crowds chanting "Murdabad" and hurling slippers at Sinha's car, preventing him from moving ahead. Speaking to ANI, Sinha accused the RJD of intimidation, saying, "These are the goons of RJD. NDA is coming to power, so they are panicking. They didn't let my polling agent vote." In a separate phone exchange, he was heard in a heated call with the local SP, calling him a "coward" for allegedly not ensuring security. Police personnel were later seen at the spot controlling the situation.
