Two days after an explosion at a Gaza hospital killed hundreds, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas and reiterated India's position on the Palestinian cause. While the PM expressed condolences for the loss of civilian lives and the deteriorating situation, he did not make any mention of the need for a stop or for a ceasefire.
