A report now ranks Bengaluru as the second-most congested city in the world-behind Mexico City and ahead of Dublin-with an average congestion level of 74.4%, worse than last year. A 10-kilometre drive now takes an average of 36 minutes and 9 seconds in 2025. During peak hours, the situation is even more punishing: 41 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening, with congestion levels ranging from 94% to 115% and crawling speeds of just 13-15 km/h.
