A devastating flash flood has struck Nepal’s Rasuwa district after the Bhote Koshi River suddenly swelled, sweeping away villages, project sites, vehicles and goods. At least 16 people have been killed, while 32 security personnel and 108 Indians are reported missing. Rescue operations are underway, with 14 helicopters deployed and Army and Police teams sent to affected areas.
