Assam Migrant Workers Are Worried For Their Future

In Assam, an estimate of 1.25 lakh people works as migrant workers in other states. During the time of the coronavirus pandemic these workers have returned back, but they have been put through a very strict quarantine regime, which includes 14 days of institutional quarantine, followed by 14 days of home quarantine. The workers are happy to be back home safely, but pensive about what they would do for a living if that have to stay back in Assam for some time.
