Port Of Spain | Protesters Rally Outside Moroccan Embassy in Madrid Over Ceuta Crisis

Around 1,500 protesters took to the streets of Madrid Sunday to demonstrate against the Spanish government’s handling of the migration crisis that's overwhelmed the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. The influx triggered chaos in the city in North Africa and reignited the immigration debate in Europe and beyond. Spaniards protesting in the country's capital were frustrated at what they see as an invasion and an encroachment on their national identity. "It seems to me that it is a violation of Spanish sovereignty. Many call it an invasion, and indeed it is. It's a demographic invasion," said Eduardo Arroyo, a teacher.
