Assam Magh Bihu | 16th Rangpur Fair Winter Festival Celebrates Magh Bihu In Sivasagar, Assam

The historic Rang Ghar in Assam came alive as the 16th annual Rangpur Fair Winter Festival began at the Rupohi field in Sivasagar. Organised by the Tai Ahom Yuba Parishad Assam in collaboration with the Rangpur Fair Organising Committee, the six-day festival celebrates Magh Bihu and showcases Assam’s rich cultural heritage. From vibrant performances by Ahom, Bodo and Bihu dancers to traditional sports and local cuisines, the event highlights unity, tradition and tourism in the historic Rangpur region.
