Badruddin Ajmal, in an exclusive interaction, launched a sharp attack on both the BJP and Congress, alleging that governance failures have harmed all communities, especially minorities. He blamed Congress for NRC exclusions, detention centres, and displacement due to erosion, while accusing the BJP of targeting Muslims communally. Ajmal linked his Dhubri defeat to low literacy and a “misleading” Mahagathbandhan narrative, while stressing that his concern remains education and development. Highlighting issues like lack of infrastructure, unemployment, and migration, he reiterated that education, erosion, NRC, and the Bangladeshi issue would remain key priorities if voted to power.
