Assam Bids Farewell: Thousands Expected At Zubeen Garg's 13th-Day Ritual In Jorhat | Read

A massive turnout is expected in Jorhat for the 'Adhya Shradha ceremony' of Assam's beloved cultural icon, Zubeen Garg, who passed away in Singapore on September 19. The 13th-day post-death ritual, scheduled from 8 AM till sunset, will honor the late singer in the town where his musical journey began. To allow fans to pay their respects, Garg's ashes will be kept at a public venue in Jorhat until October 4. The city is witnessing an emotional gathering as thousands pour in to bid a final farewell.
